Pearl Jam’s ‘Give Way’ Available on Vinyl & CD Tomorrow, Record Store Day

“Do the Evolution” Live Video from Melbourne Park 1998 Show Up Now

Band Announces U.S. Dates for August and September

Pearl Jam’s live Give Way album will officially be released in vinyl and CD formats tomorrow through Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, as part of Record Store Day 2023.

Give Way was recorded in Melbourne, Australia during the band’s 1998 Yield album tour and was one of the final Pearl Jam shows to feature drummer Jack Irons (Red Hot Chili Peppers). This highly sought after show was planned as a promotional release and scrapped at the last minute. Copies have surfaced over the past two decades but this is the first time it is widely distributed.

The 17-track album, pressed on double black vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve, includes live versions of “Given To Fly”, “Faithfull” and “Do The Evolution.”

Give Way is the culmination of the 25th Anniversary of Yield album, released Feb 3, 1998. The title is a nod to the Australian version of the yield street sign.

A video of “Do the Evolution” live at Melbourne Park from the Give Way show is also now available for the first time: https://pj.lnk.to/DoTheEvolutionLiveAUS
