Hot August Night/NYC, the new live concert DVD from the legendary singer-songwriter-performer Neil Diamond, will be available exclusively at all Walmart and Sam’s Club locations nationally as well as Walmart.com on Friday, August 14.

On Friday, August 14 (8:00–9:00 PM, ET/PT) the CBS Television Network will air a special broadcast version of Neil Diamond - Hot August Night/NYC, featuring Neil singing a variety of his classic hits - including "America," "Cracklin' Rosie," "I Am…I Said," "Forever In Blue Jeans," "Cherry Cherry" and the world’s greatest sing-along, "Sweet Caroline" - as well as Diamond reflecting on a recent visit to his boyhood home, taking his audience on a journey from Brooklyn to Madison Square Garden.

Recorded live at New York's Madison Square Garden in August 2008, Hot August Night/NYC culls the finest performances from Neil's phenomenal four-night sold-out run at the fabled concert hall. The DVD features more than two hours of music including classic tracks, audience crowd-pleasers, personal favorites of the artist, and the first concert versions of songs from his most recent albums, the critically acclaimed 12 Songs (2005) and Home Before Dark, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart in May 2008.

Hot August Night/NYC also includes the exclusive bonus feature "Welcome Home Neil," a behind-the-scenes look at Diamond's pilgrimage to his childhood home in Brooklyn, plus a bonus CD featuring 10 Neil Diamond studio favorites.
