Box sets have been around as long as there have been records to put in a box. Bob Dylan's Biograph, which was issued by Columbia Records twenty-five years ago today, is the granddaddy of all boxes: its combination of beloved tracks and unreleased masterpieces made it an instant classic, and it remains a strong seller to this day.
