The Swedish hair metal outfit joined a prestigious group upon releasing the international mega-single "The Final Countdown" in 1986. Whether they knew that the song would eventually stand arm and arm with Queen's "We Will Rock You" at sporting events for all eternity remains doubtful, but there's no denying the anthem's staying power.
