Description
One of the most influential bands of the '90s, Seattle's Alice In Chains carved out a forceful body of work combining the quartet's pummeling, distortion-soaked sound with frontman Layne Staley's dark, soul-baring lyrics. The quartet's 1992 platinum smash Dirt was the band's most popular release, and is regarded by many fans as Alice In Chains' definitive musical statement.
