Also known as Petra Marklund, September is a dance-pop singer and performer from Sweden. Born in 1984, by the time Marklund was 18 she had a record deal and a collaborative production team behind her, ready for chart domination. Her debut single, "La La La (Never Give Up)," was a Top Ten hit in Sweden, and September released her first album in 2004. Her follow-up, In Orbit, was also awash with hit singles, and the track "Satellites" made minor waves in America. In 2007 September participated in the Sopot Festival, and released her next album, Dancing Shoes.
