The Christian acoustic rock duo Connersvine is comprised of Chris Wilson and professional footballer Hunter Smith, who met in 2001 and formed a fast friendship while leading worship for a young adult ministry in southern Indianapolis. Although born and raised in Texas, Smith later relocated to Indianapolis following a four-year residence at Norte Dame, where his prowess on the football field landed him a contract with the NFL Colts. Meanwhile, Wilson had been studying guitar and helping with local worship services since middle school.
