Thursday, October 14, 2010
Stevie Ray Vaughan was a blues, rock, and jazz icon with voice to match his unparalleled guitar skills. Born and bred in Texas, Stevie received his first guitar for Christmas in 1963 - a SEARS made southern style toy on which he learned to cover songs of a favorite garage band, The Nightcaps. Enjoy "Cold Shot", a bluesy and rocking jam sure to get your foot tapping.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Vaughan got his first guitar in 1963 from Sears. In 1983 he signed a major deal with Epic Records to begin a storied career that was tragically cut short by an accident in 1990.
