Legacy Song of the Day - Modest Mouse "Gravity Rides Everything"

Thursday, August 5, 2010
This could be one of the greatest songs of all time. This entire album for that matter, may be one of the greatest albums of all time. Even the plaid-clad skinny jean wearers over at Pitchfork rated this as one of the best albums of the decade. Ten years after it's release, The Moon & Antarctica remains one of those albums you can come back to and really float away on. Issac Brock's lyrical brilliance coupled with unique use of guitar and sound distortions make this song, this album, and Modest Mouse iconic Indie Rockers. Cheers, it's Thursday.
