An absolute masterpiece of the 1990s, Lauryn Hill's solo debut sold 8 million copies in the U.S., spawned 4 top ten singles, and garnered Hill five Grammy awards. Lauryn Hill, born May 25, 1975, is a talented recording artist and musician that also branched into becoming a producer and actress. Originally starting with the hip-hop group the Fugees, she launched her career as a solo artist in 1998 with the commercially successful album titled, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
