Spanish pop duet Estopa, formed by brothers José and David Muñoz, made an impressive debut with the release of their self-titled debut album, released by BMG-Ariola.
The group became a top-selling act in less than a year.
Playing a mixture of flamenco/pop and rumba/rock, Estopa was voted Revelation of the Year and Best Spanish Band at the 2000 Amigo Awards.
